Napoli achieved a celebrated 2-1 victory over Roma at home, thanks to a Giovanni Simeone goal five minutes from time and remains at the top of the Italian Serie A standings, heading to the title, with 13 points advantage over Inter.
Victor Osimhen put the leader ahead, Stephan El Shaarawy (74') established the temporary tie and Simeone (85') sealed the victory for the Neapolitan squad over those led by José Mourinho.
Napoli's coach, Luciano Spalletti, maintained that "you win these games if you are determined."
"They are delicate parties and those who have entered have done so with the right attitude," he declared.
Roma warned first and seemed closer, but Victor Osimhen appeared who stopped a past cross from Georgian Khvicha Kvaratskhelia with his chest, rebounded it with his thigh and smashed Patricio's goal.

Roma reacted to the goal late in the first half, with a high shot from Paulo Dybala and a half volley from Lorenzo Spinazzola that Alex Meret sent into the corner with a great save.
Shortly before, Osimhen could have scored the second, in a header to the center of the Mexican Hirving Lozano who, with Rui Patricio beaten, went high by a little (45).
Roma took a step forward in the second half and Meret saved his team with a double save (62), shortly before Lozano had an opportunity to make the second (63) if he had not met a great Rui Patricio.
José Mourinho's team equalized with 15 minutes to go, with a cross from the right that Stephan El Shaarawy finished off into the net, ahead of his mark (75).
But everything seems to be going well this season for the Neapolitan team.
