As-Suwayda - SANA
The branch of the General Company for Building and Development in As-Suwayda completed the implementation of four projects for the benefit of a number of public authorities in the governorate, at a total cost of about 2 billion and 800 million Syrian pounds.
The company's branch manager, Eng. Barjas Al-Kafiri, stated in a statement to SANA's reporter today that the projects included the construction of 12 blocks at the youth housing site in the village of Salim, with the general site works of excavating, moving, leveling roads, and laying the remains of quarries for them, in addition to giving an order to start constructing three new residential towers.
The works implemented, according to Al-Kafiri, also include a main sewage line project in the village of Mardak, the restoration of a school in the village of Al-Majdal, and the creation of a hangar with a canopy for the branch of the General Corporation for Seed Multiplication, pointing out that the company's branch is preparing to hand over the construction of the new judicial palace in the city of Salkhad after completing the structure and cladding works. At a cost of 599 million pounds.
Al-Kafiri pointed out that the branch is in the process of finalizing the backup sewage project for the village of Sahwa Balata, while the asphalt laying operations for the project will be completed at the beginning of next April, indicating that preparations are underway to start implementing electrical works in the new Justice Palace in the city of As-Suwayda at a cost of 2.5 billion pounds, after the completion of a large section of civil works therein.
Last year, the branch of the General Company for Building and Development in Suwayda carried out projects worth about one billion and 700 million pounds.
