These are the denialist phrases with which a professor of the 'Curie-Sraffa' high school in Milan interrupted the show, staged on the eve of Memorial Day at the Spazio Teatro 89, entitled 'Herr Doktor', centered on the figure of Joseph Goebbels, Propaganda Minister of the Third Reich.
When the actress Beatrice Marzorati began to list the number of deaths from the Holocaust from the stage, the teacher stood up and shouted phrases from the audience such as "this is your truth, only say what suits you, you are completely inflating the numbers".
The actress replied that "this is history"
"We tried to calm him down to continue the show and possibly resume the moment of confrontation at the end of the performance - explained the actress to the microphones of TgR Lombardia - but he decided to leave the hall".
The professor would not be new to such positions.
It was his school colleagues who reported the incident and wrote a letter to the head teacher, the staff, the school council and the theatre, to dissociate themselves from these denial statements.
An apology from the principal, Raffaella d'Amore, also arrived at the Spazio Teatro 89, who explained how this episode does not represent the institute in any way.
