The massacre committed by the Israeli occupation in Jenin and its refugee camp last Thursday, which resulted in the death of 10 Palestinians, is the latest among hundreds of massacres, and it will not be the last as long as the world is satisfied with its crimes.

The occupation’s attacks and massacres during the years 1947 and 1948 alone resulted in the death of 15,000 Palestinians, the displacement of 950,000 out of a million and 400,000, and the destruction of 531 Palestinian villages out of 1,300 villages and cities.

Convoys of martyrs continued as a result of the occupation’s crimes, bringing the number to about 100,000 at the end of 2022. Among its most brutal massacres:

- 18 massacres in Haifa between 1937 and 1948, which resulted in the death of 972 Palestinians and the injury of 798.

- 4 massacres in Jaffa during the years 1947 and 1948, which led to the death of 124 Palestinians and the injury of dozens.

8 massacres in Jerusalem between 1938 and 1948, which resulted in the death of more than 120, and the injury of more than 150.

The massacres of Safad, Sasa’, Husseiniyeh and Ain al-Zaytoun in February, March and May 1948, during which 260 Palestinians were killed and dozens wounded.

The two massacres in the city of Ramla - March and May 1948, which resulted in the death of 75 Palestinians and the wounding of others.

The Deir Yassin massacre - April 1948, in which 360 Palestinians were killed and hundreds wounded.

The massacres of Tiberias, Lajoun, Qalunya, and Nasser al-Din - April 1948, in which 91 were killed and others wounded.

The Lod massacre - July 1948, which led to the death of 426, and the injury of dozens.

Al-Dawayima massacre in Hebron - October 1948, in which 200 Palestinians were killed.

The Beersheba and Majdal massacres - October 1948, which resulted in the death of 98 Palestinians and the wounding of others.

The al-Bureij refugee camp massacre in the Gaza Strip - August 1953, in which 20 Palestinians were killed and 62 wounded.

The Qibya massacre, northwest of Ramallah, in October 1953, resulted in the death of 69 Palestinians and dozens of injuries.

The Qalqilya massacre - October 1953, in which 70 Palestinians were killed and dozens were wounded.

The Gaza massacres - February and May 1955 and November 1956, which led to the death of 380 Palestinians and the wounding of 103.

The Kafr Qassem massacre - October 1956, in which 49 Palestinians were killed and 31 wounded.

The massacre of the Sabra and Shatila camps - September 1982, which led to the death of more than 3,000 Palestinians, in addition to the injury of hundreds.

The Ibrahimi Mosque massacre in Hebron - February 1994, which led to the death of 60 Palestinians and the injury of 150.

Al-Aqsa massacre - September 2000 - during which 13 Palestinians were killed and 475 were wounded.

The Nablus and Beit Rima massacres in Ramallah - July and October 2001, which resulted in the death of 30 and the injury of dozens.

Jenin and its camp massacre - April 2002, which led to the death of about 500 Palestinians and the wounding of hundreds.

The massacres of Rafah, Khan Yunis, al-Bureij, Jabalia camp and al-Daraj neighborhood in the Gaza Strip - in 2002, in which 81 Palestinians were killed and about 450 were injured.

The massacres of the Jabalia camp, Al-Zaytoun and Al-Shujaia neighborhoods in the Gaza Strip - in 2003, which resulted in the death of 65 Palestinians and the injury of more than 250.

The massacres of Rafah, Al-Bureij, Al-Shujaia, Al-Zaytoun and Al-Nuseirat neighborhoods in the Gaza Strip in 2004 led to the death of 191 Palestinians and the wounding of 439.

The Beit Lahiya and Beit Hanoun massacres in the Gaza Strip - January 2005 and November 2006, in which 28 Palestinians were killed and 54 wounded.

The aggression on the Gaza Strip between July 7 and August 26, 2014, during which 2,322 Palestinians were killed and about 11,000 were injured.

The massacre of one million people marching back in the Gaza Strip – May 14, 2018, which resulted in the death of 60 Palestinians and the injury of 2,771.

The aggression on the Gaza Strip on 3, 4 and 5 May 2019 led to the death of 27 Palestinians and the injury of 154.

The aggression on the Gaza Strip on November 12, 13 and 14, 2019 resulted in the death of 34 Palestinians and the injury of 100.

The aggression on the Gaza Strip between 10 and 21 May 2021, during which 257 Palestinians were killed and about 2,000 were injured.

The aggression on the Gaza Strip on August 5, 6, and 7, 2022 led to the death of 49 Palestinians and the injury of 360.
