Iran has summoned Ukraine's charge d'affaires to Tehran after the remarks of an adviser to the Ukrainian presidency on a drone attack that targeted an Iranian military site, Iranian diplomacy announced on Monday (January 30th).
Tehran criticized the fact that Mykhailo Podoliak, adviser to President Volodymyr Zelensky, mentioned in a tweet both the attack on the military complex in the province of Isfahan (center) on Saturday evening and a fire in a state oil factory engine in the North, without any link being able to be made between the two.

" the Ukrainian adviser tweeted.

the logic of war (...) makes those who are its authors and accomplices pay
".

The Iranian Foreign Ministry called the adviser's position "
strange and biased
" and demanded "
an official and immediate explanation from the Ukrainian government
" on this statement, the text adds.
kyiv and its Western allies have accused Iran of supplying drones to Russia for its war in Ukraine, a claim flatly denied by Tehran.
