Former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro
applied to the United States for a
tourist visa to stay in the country for the next
six months

This was reported by the former president's lawyer, according to Brazilian media.
Bolsonaro has been in the United States since the end of December, before his term ends.
According to his lawyer, the former Brazilian president would have started a
tourist visa
process .
He currently resides in the state of Florida.
The former president was not present for the transfer of command to Luiz Inácio Lula Da Silva and only made brief statements in recent weeks to condemn the attack by supporters of his force on government buildings in Brasilia, after the transfer of command.
