Lisa Loring, the first actress to play Merlina in Los locos Addams, has died

Lisa Loring, actress who gave life to Merlina (Wednesday) in the first version of the popular television series

, has died at the age of 64,

reported Monday .

Loring died Saturday night at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, California, from complications of a stroke caused by high blood pressure, her daughter Vanessa Foumberg told the specialized magazine.

Famous as the first Merlina Addams in the original version of the television series, she also played Wednesday in the 1977 made-for-TV movie
