Macabre discovery on the former Zone to defend (ZAD) of Notre-Dame-des-Landes (Loire-Atlantique), from which opponents of an airport project, abandoned in January 2018, had waged a fight against the authorities and the state.
Saturday, shortly after 10 a.m., a resident of the area found the lifeless body of a 22-year-old woman in the town of Vigneux-de-Bretagne.

His body was in one of the huts present in this area which still houses around 150 former militants.
For the moment, the causes of his death are not known.
No trace of violence
“We have to wait for the autopsy performed today in order to have more precise elements”
, explains this Monday morning a source close to the investigation at

This must take place at the Forensic Institute of Nantes University Hospital.
A first element, however, seems already known: according to Presse Océan,
"the body of the deceased shows no trace of violence"
.

According to the first elements of the ongoing investigation entrusted to the gendarmes, the 22-year-old woman had been living in the former ZAD for several months.
As for the cabin in which her body was found, she would have moved there on Friday afternoon.
