Monday around 6:15 p.m., a pedestrian died after being hit by a vehicle on the A8 motorway.
He was knocked down between Nice airport and Saint-Isidore, in the direction of Monaco.
Eleven firefighters were dispatched to the scene but were unable to do anything.
When they arrived, the person had died as a result of the shock.
The Nice gendarmerie took over.

This accident caused more than three kilometers of congestion, traffic only taking place in the left lane.
