Two men were arrested on the morning of Monday January 30 in a camp for Travelers in Chelles (Seine-et-Marne) in connection with the shooting on January 21 of a man also from this community, indicated the Meaux prosecutor's office, confirming information from Actu17.
Ten days ago, a 54-year-old man was found dead in his car in Chelles with a gunshot wound, a police source told AFP at the time.

The facts took place on a Saturday evening at 6 p.m., on a road away from houses near the nautical base of Vaires-sur-Marne.
The victim was known to the courts for traffic offenses, according to the Meaux prosecutor's office, which did not wish to communicate more details on the profile of those arrested.
The investigation is entrusted to the judicial police of Meaux.
