Public transport users must prepare for another complicated day this Tuesday in Nantes and Loire-Atlantique.

The strike movement against the pension reform will still have a strong impact on the conditions of circulation of trains, trams and buses.

In the Nantes conurbation, a demonstration is planned from 10:30 am.

As during the mobilization of January 19, the unions have set the meeting point at the Water Mirror, located in front of the castle of the Dukes of Brittany.

Lines cut in the city center

Due to this procession, some TAN lines will be cut in Nantes city center between 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

The only exception, tram line 1 will be cut from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Here are the affected lines:

  • Line 1 of the tramway: cut between Commerce and Duchesse Anne

  • Line 2 of the tramway: terminus at 50 hostages

  • Line 3 of the tramway: cut between Commerce and Hôtel Dieu

  • Line C1: cut between Copernic and Foch Cathedral

Note that on line 4 of the busway, the Semitan announces a

“normal route”

.

Less frequent trams and buses

Another consequence of the strike movement: the traffic frequencies of trams and buses will be lower on Tuesday.

Regarding trams, you will have to wait for line 1 for six minutes and lines 2 and 3 for eight minutes.

Users of line 4 of the busway will have to wait five minutes.

For buses, here is Semitan's paratransit plan:

  • In blue day timetables (normal service): 28, 40, 47, 66, 67, 75, 77, 79, 80, 87, 89, 95, 96, and the circuits of the Chapel.

  • In green day timetables: line 5 busway, C1, C2, C3, C4, C6, C7, C9, C20, 10, 11, 12, 23, 26, 30, 36, 38, 50, 54, 69, 85, 86 , 97, 98 and the E5 express line.

  • In yellow day timetables: 27, 33, 42, 59, 60, 78, 81, 88, 93, and Express lines E1, E4, E8.

  • In purple day hours: 71 and 91.

Navibus and airport shuttles not impacted

Navibus users, like those who want to take the TAN airport shuttle, will be the best off on Tuesday.

These two services

"will operate normally"

, says Semitan.

Reduced service for Proxitan

The specific Proxitan transport system, offered to people with disabilities, will also be impacted by the day of the strike.

The Semitan announces a "reduced service" without giving further details.

Passenger information

As far as TAN traffic is concerned, all the information will be available in real time on the tan.fr website in the traffic info section, the Tan mobile app and on twitter via the official account: reseau_tan.

Few TGV and no Intercity

The SNCF has already communicated its traffic forecasts for the Atlantic arc and the Pays de la Loire region.

Between Monday evening 7 p.m. and Wednesday morning 6 a.m., it is counting on one TGV out of four between Nantes and Paris.

On the Intercity side, traffic is reduced to nothing.

No train will provide the Nantes-Bordeaux and Nantes-Lyon connections on Tuesday.

Two TER lines at a standstill

This Tuesday, the circulation of TER will also be very disrupted.

To know precisely if your train is maintained, the SNCF invites you to check the traffic conditions from this Monday 5 p.m.

On average, there will only be two out of ten TERs on the rails.

Another known element: two lines will be completely stopped.

This is the one linking Nantes to Le Croisic via Saint-Nazaire and the one between Nantes and Rennes which stops at Redon.

Here are the other lines affected:
