Three people were injured, one of them critically, in a stabbing incident today in the Belgian capital, Brussels.
“Three people were wounded in the attack that took place today inside a metro station in the European Institutions district of the Belgian capital, Brussels,” AFP quoted the Belgian Federal Police as saying in a statement, explaining that “one of the injured is in a critical condition.”
A previous toll reported by the same source stated that one person was wounded in the attack.
According to the Brussels railway operator Step, the attack led to a partial disruption of movement on the two metro lines that pass through the Schumann station, pending the completion of the police field investigations.
