Gen X's in action: Tori Spelling and Jenny Garth - forever Donna and Kelly from the immortal teen series 'Beverly Hills 90210' - are launching a collection of home decor products designed by them.

The product line launched under the name The BFF Collection (Best Friend Collection) is sold on the QVC network (the American shopping channel) and includes items in a "color palette that draws inspiration from Beverly Hills 90210 (think powder pink, emerald green and stunning neutral colors) and aims to make it easier for every woman The craft of home design, so that she can beautify her home with style and functionality," the pair of actresses announced.

The Spelling and Garth lifestyle brand currently includes about 11 items including: colored glass storage vessels, a pedestal with storage, a drinks cart and some textile items such as pillows and TV blankets - all in the guaranteed color of pink, dark green and gold.

The price range of the items is accessible and ranges from $48 for the cheapest item (an ornamental pillow with a botanical leaf print) to $271 for the most expensive item (an art deco beverage cart).

There is more nostalgia for the nineties here than an interesting design line.

A general examination of the collection gives the impression that these are quite simple items, not ones that require any design creativity and are far from being groundbreaking in terms of style or trend, to put it mildly.

And in a less subtle way - the items look like something that would look good in the rooms of teenage girls.

And this, despite the fact that the target audience that keeps Spelling and Gareth Hesed youthful has long since passed the age of 40. So the cautious assessment of the section is that it is going to be a flop.

But hey, at least we got another round of an exciting reunion of two of our favorite characters from the past and Dash from our youth.

"We've already done everything together, so it was a natural development for us. Who could be a better partner than my best friend?" said Tori Spelling (49) in an interview with the NBC network this week.

"I didn't think I would have a career after the age of 40, because when you're young you don't think about the big picture or the long term. So I'm pleasantly surprised and happy that I'm still going strong. I'm much more creative now than I've been all my life," said Gareth, daughter of -50.

"Our 35-year friendship was a source of inspiration for most of the items in the collection. In the process of creating the items, we remembered all the happy moments we experienced together and designed objects that we would like to have in our homes," said Gareth, and Spelling added that: "
