Munich – Louis Klamroth has taken on what is probably the most pressing topic of all for this Monday: how to deal with the climate crisis.
In the fourth edition of the ARD political talk "Hart aber fair" since Frank Plasberg handed over the baton to the son of actor Peter Lohmeyer, the topic is: "Last descent - how does the climate crisis change everyday life and life?" Born in Hamburg, among others, with the meteorologist Sven Plöger, a spokeswoman for the "last generation", who takes no prisoners in her climate protests, and Hildegard Müller, the president of the Association of the Automotive Industry.
The next day, the WDR broadcasting council will talk about Klamroth.

Allegation of violating compliance rules
Klamroth is said to have only informed WDR after the contract was signed that the 26-year-old is his partner.
For some critics, the constellation is said to represent a violation of the broadcaster's compliance rules.
Because these stipulate that employees must strictly separate their professional and private lives.

, CDU politician Gregor Golland, who is a member of the WDR broadcasting council, complained: "There are so many small things that made the camel overflow.
That's why the CDU broadcasting councils - with the full backing of the entire North Rhine-Westphalia state parliamentary group - wrote a fire letter to the WDR director general Tom Buhrow party that he had spread through his Instagram channel".

, however, the confrontation is mainly based on the Klamroth personality.
Buhrow and program director Jörg Schönenborn are therefore behind the Plasberg successor.
Last week, at a meeting of the program committee, there was a clash between supervisors and Schönenborn.
The latter should argue that the compliance rules only applied to Klamroth after the contract was signed.
Klamroth in the climate talk: broadcasting councils may call on WDR to separate in the summer
According to the report, the critics among the broadcasting councils - apparently representatives of the CDU and SPD - "above all the perceived careless handling of the cause by the management level".
There is even room to ask the top broadcasters not to extend the contract with Klamroth, which is due to expire in the summer.
During the climate talk, the Klamroth critics will certainly take a very close look and listen.
The winner of the German Television Award 2018 will probably not be able to catapult himself out of the line of fire any time soon.
In the worst case, the WDR faces an ordeal.
