Three soldiers and two armed police officers then made their way to one of the guard houses where the alarm was triggered.

"Instead of an intruder or a terrorist, we found Prince Harry,"

the security guard said.

He was lying on the floor and drooling.

When we tried to get him up he started screaming, 'Leave me alone, I don't need any help.'

He pushed us away and became very abusive.

The panic alarm was not noted at the time because a commanding officer called the station the next day and insisted that the incident remain secret.

But why is the former security guard unpacking eleven years after the incident about Prince Harry's antics?

"Harry stoked the flames, all for the benefit of his book, that makes me angry," the ex-soldier explains his motives.
