Pakistani medical sources announced this morning that the death toll from the Peshawar mosque bombing in northwestern Pakistan has risen to 83 people.
Muhammad Asim Khan, spokesman for Yedi Reading Hospital in Peshawar, told AFP that more bodies arrived at the hospital overnight, bringing the number of victims to 83.
The last toll published yesterday evening indicated that the death toll from the terrorist suicide bombing in the mosque amounted to at least 47 people, and 150 injured, the majority of whom were policemen.
