In the shadow of the publication, the certification ceremony of the new lawyers who passed the consent exams will be held today at the Nation Buildings in Jerusalem.
The chairman of the chamber, Himi, was supposed to speak at the ceremony, but due to the report of the sexual act, he canceled his participation. In the program "Electoral Area" on News 13, journalist Ila Hasson published that the head of the Bar Association, Avi Hami, allegedly committed an indecent act during a video call with a lawyer, who asked him for a recommendation for the appointment of a judge, and he even recommended her.
According to the publication, the information received by News 13 indicates that the lawyer turned to the chairman of the Bar Association to recommend her to become a judge. After he informed her that he had sent a letter of recommendation, the lawyer received a video call from him during which he allegedly rolled up his pants and began pleasuring himself in front of her. Editor Din, who was shocked by the incident, recorded the conversation, according to her, this was done without consent and is harassment.

In the meantime, the police are considering whether to open an investigation against attorney Avi Chaimi. Police sources clarified that "Chaimi holds a senior position and is influential.
