Last year, Cristina Kirchner was sentenced to 6 years in prison in the Highway case, and at the beginning of the election year, Peronist leaders began an operation outcry for her candidacy, after she herself said that she would not run "for any position."

A few days ago, Martín Insaurralde, Buenos Aires chief of staff, expressed that "Peronism cannot think of candidacies until they break the ban on Cristina."
Minister Fernández also maintained that there will be an inmate in the Frente de Todos.
