In a document published by Col. Yair Plai, he called for soldiers and brigade commanders to return and stick to the IDF's values of "brotherhood of fighters alongside striving for contact with the enemy". The document was published even before the investigations into the violent incident between the brigade's soldiers and Commander Yehuda began, the findings of which will later be presented to the Chief of Staff, who may intervene in it himself

A few hours before the investigations into the violent confrontation between Golani soldiers and the Yehuda Brigade began, the commander of the Golani Brigade, Col. Yair Plai, decided to publish an internal document for the soldiers and commanders of the brigade following the incident.

"In the last day there was an incident that harmed the mission we are entrusted with against the background of an unrelated conflict between commanders and between commanders and soldiers," it said.

"The morale of the IDF was damaged, statehood was damaged and discipline was damaged, in an incident that caused attention to be diverted from the operational mission assigned to us.

" . We will always act in light of the value of evils and brotherhood of warriors alongside striving for contact with the enemy."

He also said that they are "thoroughly investigating the incident, but it is already clear - the eyes of our soldiers, the IDF and society as a whole are on us."

The violent incident took place at the Harsina outpost in Hebron between the commanders of the 51st Battalion fighters of the Golani Brigade, the deputy commander of the Yehuda Brigade, his HPC fighters, and the brigade liaison officer. The background to the incident is the claim that the brigade liaison officer called the deputy commander of the 51st Battalion in the Golani "Golanchik Ers" ". Army officials defined the incident as very serious and estimated that severe disciplinary measures would be taken against those involved. It was also decided that the findings of the investigation would be presented to Chief of Staff Lt. Col. Herzi Halevi, who may intervene in the conclusion of the investigation and the punishments that would be given.

Only about eight days ago we published in Walla!

A letter from the commander of the Infantry Vocational School (Bislamah) in the land arm, Col. Israel Friedler, which was titled "My selfish brother is asking." One side accuses the other of treachery, as if we are not members of the same nation," he wrote. "Soldiers and commanders of the IDF, certainly as those who were privileged to command the unit that trains the infantry commanders, should show responsibility, be like Yosef looking for his brother."

He also wrote that at the beginning of military service, IDF soldiers pledged to act according to the wording of an oath of allegiance and now, in his view, they are required to renew the covenant.

After taking the IDF oath in writing, he added, "I, like you, am ready to sacrifice my life for the homeland and for the freedom of Israel, with the entire nation of Israel, without the political opinion of the men and women whom I protect influencing me." At the end of the document, the Brigadier General added, "I call on you to behave in a stately manner, to stay away from toxic and divisive discourse. Whether in a gathering of friends and family or in social networks. Speak up in engaging and respectful discourse, because the trend can be changed. Even if it seems to you that your voice is negligible and unheard. It is not so. The light repels a lot of darkness."

In the last sentence of the document, he wrote, "Our Zionist mission is not finished and we cannot allow free hatred to expand the third stanza. "I am asking for my brother."
