82,000 families in Deir ez-Zor governorate benefited from heating diesel distributed at a rate of 50 liters per family, with a total amount of about 4 million liters.
Safaa Al-Marei, the branch manager of the Syrian Company for Petroleum Storage and Distribution of Petroleum Materials, Safaa Al-Marei, stated in a statement to SANA reporter that the number of electronic cards registered for the demand for diesel in Deir ez-Zor amounted to 121,897 cards out of 130,155 cards in the governorate, at a rate of about 67 percent.
Al-Marei indicated that the distribution process continues at an escalating pace, and that the daily requests that reach the governorate range between 5 and 6 requests of fuel oil, which are distributed to sectors and stations by a decision of the Subcommittee on Fuels.
