A few days ago Paris Fashion Week ended.

The new edition of Haute Couture was held between January 23 and 26 and allowed us to learn in detail the proposals devised by a select group of creatives whose designs highlight handwork, craftsmanship, and unrepeatable pieces.

A total of 29 fashion houses showed what they know and do best and these are some of our chosen ones.

The animals were the inspiration.

The house proposes "the menagerie" with which she approached the pieces that he has created.

The references have not been as explicit as in Schiaparelli, but rather a subtle version seen in sculptures of elephants and owls.

The animals pass into the garments in a very discreet way.

Virgine Viard bets on crystals, embroidered with small animals and looks as always in two-piece outfits.

Victor & Rolf

The fashion house known for its surreal shows surprises under the concept of "Late Stage Capitalism Waltz".

On this occasion the dresses seemed to float in a disruptive proposal.

"Sewing is our laboratory for creative experimentation" say the designers.

An abstract sensation through a provocative approach.

Diagonal, inverted dresses and deconstruction as a point.

Dior

A parade inspired by Josephine Baker and other great African American pioneers.

María Grazia Chiuri has collaborated with the African-American artist Mickalene Thomas to pay tribute to black and mixed-race women who marked a before and after in history.

The collection is focused on the aesthetics of the '20s.

A period of effervescence and fun that shows fringes, geometries and golden sparkles.

The weight, however, does not lie in the waist but in the leading shoulders.

The fluid coats and classic jackets of the firm, present.

schiaparelli

The Divine Comedy, animal heads and controversy summarize this parade of the house.

However, the shock effect has not been as expected among the public.

The garments of him as always an infinite source of beauty and creativity.

Pierpaolo Piccioli, the Creative Director, honors giant flowers and bows.

Once again the pink in the center.

This time the inspiration was the clubs: "Le Club Couture" reinvents the codes of the house to adapt them to today and refers to the night world.

In the words of its creator: "That is the freedom and the challenge of Haute Couture. Making something that seems almost normal but has never really been done before. Making the impossible possible. That's what it's all about."
