Tehran-SANA
The Prosecutor General of the Iranian province of Markazi, Abd al-Mahdi Mousavi, announced the dismantling of a cell dependent on foreign countries, which was seeking to carry out complex operations to destabilize security inside the country.
Mousavi said in a statement today: The main member of the cell and five others were arrested, while the search continues to arrest two other members who are hiding from view.
Mousavi explained that the members of the cell were trying to prepare weapons to carry out large-scale sabotage operations in one of the cities of the province, and they tried to cut off internet connections and electronic monitoring devices, but they were arrested by the security forces before they could carry out any sabotage.
