Four suspects, residents of East Jerusalem, were arrested last night (Monday) on suspicion of illegal import and trade of weapons from the USA and China. Their detention was extended in court.
In the last two months, the detectives of the Blahav 433 Challenge Unit conducted an undercover investigation into the importation of illegal weapons from the USA and China. During the undercover investigation, three suspects from East Jerusalem were suspected of involvement in the importation of weapons and the trade in those weapons.

Two of the suspects were arrested yesterday by the detectives of the unit, after they had pallets of a drug suspected to be hashish weighing about 2 kg in a car.

In the home of another suspect in East Jerusalem, a 3D printer for the production of weapons was seized with a fist inside.
Many weapons of various types, cartridges and more were also seized.
A fourth suspect, the suspect in the import and trade affair, was arrested in his car near Mount Hahotsavim in Jerusalem.
The detention of the suspects was extended at the Peace Court in Israel for an additional 8 days.
We note that the two terrorists who carried out the two shooting attacks in Neve Ya'akov and near the City of David are residents of East Jerusalem.
