For more than
five hours
, Nicolás Carrizo, known as the "head of the copitos gang", testified this Tuesday before Judge María Eugenia Capuchetti in the context of the case in which he is being prosecuted as a secondary participant in the attempted murder of Cristina Kirchner.
On this occasion, he
pointed to the custody of the vice president
and asked that an investigation be carried out as to how someone could "trigger at such a short distance with a security device of that magnitude."
He reiterated that the incriminating text messages "were a practical joke" to people "that he specifically chose."
The extension of the investigation was ordered after new text messages
were found on Carrizo's cell phone ,
which had not been detected when he was investigated for the first time last September: these messages were compiled in a work carried out by the Datip (General Directorate of Investigations and Technological Support for Criminal Investigation), which reports to the Attorney General's Office.
On the other hand, the federal judge in charge of the investigation,
once again rejected a new request from the vice to remove her from the file.
Her role as an instructor in the case dealing with the attack suffered by Cristina Kirchner last September, was endorsed by the Buenos Aires Federal Chamber at the end of last year.
Cristina Kirchner insists that this investigation must include the members of the Federal Revolution as part of the armed forces of the attempted murder of which she was a victim.
Judge Capuchetti in various resolutions warned that, for the moment, there are not enough elements to establish said connection.
As a result of this criterion, Cristina Kirchner tried to remove her on several occasions -without success- from the cause.
With the progress of the investigation that still has several open lines, this Tuesday Nicolás Carrizo declared again.
Early in the morning he was transferred to Comodoro Py where he stayed for more than five hours.
During the extension of his investigative statement, the "boss of the drinks" reiterated that Fernando Sabag Montiel
had a clear intention to "assassinate the vice president."
The young man arrested the same night that he attacked Cristina Kirchner is on trial for attempted murder.
The magistrate's next decision will be to send him to trial with his girlfriend, Brenda Uliarte.
Secondly, Carrizo questioned the operation of the custody of the vice president for her performance that Thursday, September 1.
He asked, based on this statement, that an investigation be carried out "
how someone could trigger
so close to the vice president" with a security device "of such magnitude."
Before Judge Capuchetti, as
Clarín
was able to reconstruct , Nicolás Carrizo insisted that something "went wrong" with the Federal Police personnel responsible for ensuring the safety of Cristina Kirchner.
The magistrate has a line of investigation on the role of custody.
Likewise, at the time, Aníbal Fernández, as Minister of Security, ordered that the corresponding administrative proceedings be initiated to investigate what happened that night.
It should be remembered that after Sabag Montiel fired a trigger fifteen centimeters from the vice president's head, the custody
did not make an immediate decision to order her to be removed from public roads
, quite the contrary: they allowed her to continue walking for six minutes in the middle of the people who awaited his arrival.
Nicolás Carrizo, during the expansion of his investigation, pointed out against custody, arguing that he has been in prison
"for four months and there is not a single piece of evidence"
against him, according to the understanding of his defense lawyers who once again requested the house arrest of the young man.
Faced with the new chats that involve him in the file, the "boss of the drinks" reiterated that all of them were sent
"jokingly"
and to people "specifically chosen, nothing was random, I chose friends who I knew that this kind of messages would bother them."
He said that one of those selected was a friend who always invited him "to militant marches."
Some of the messages that incriminate him were sent by Carrizo after the attack on his half-sister Andrea.
According to that Whatsapp exchange, he maintains: "The gun is mine."
And then add.
"This was planned for a week from now. He did everything wrong, he's an asshole," referring to Sabag Montiel.
Everything was reduced to
"the black humor that I always have"
, to minimize the tone of the messages sent that referred to the attack against the vice president.
Within the framework of the file, Judge Capuchetti said that Carrizo "participated actively in the planning of the event, having contributed a short .22 caliber pistol-type firearm to carry it out, which in the end was not the one used to carry out the crime." planned crime".
This circumstance "seems from the messages between Carrizo and his stepsister, as well as with other contacts."
