The technological revolution has arrived, how do we take advantage of it?

Artificial intelligences that understand our natural language and explain to us what we ask with enviable precision;

cars that drive themselves or even augmented reality and statistics in real time in the last World Cup.

The future is not something that is yet to come, it is already with us and we have to be increasingly aware of that.

Medicine is one of the areas that has been understanding and taking advantage of it: in 2022, the European Union regulated the autonomous diagnosis (without the intervention of a medical professional) of certain radiological images.

While the exploration in the use of Artificial Intelligence for medical diagnosis is intense and there are already studies showing that, for certain cases, especially those of infrequent diagnosis, Artificial Intelligence can achieve a higher precision than that of medical professionals.

Even in Argentina there are already medical technology companies that are testing automated diagnosis.

Justice also began to integrate these technologies.

There are already several countries that have Artificial Intelligence integration projects in their judicial processes, which allows them to reduce errors and achieve efficiency that was unexpected some time ago.

In short, examples like these abound so much that it is difficult to keep up with them.

This tells us about new applications that are constantly emerging, and what is really complex is that we are able to keep up with these advances.

Even from the information.

As expected, the classic questions arise: will doctors and lawyers be replaced by machines?

Surely not completely, but most likely they will stop taking care of certain processes where technology will do what it has historically done: relieve people of repetitive and automatable tasks so that they can focus on those that are more complex or that add more value.

Let's think for a few seconds about how we saw this a few years ago: they were nothing more than ideas or proofs of concept that had to mature to be usable and today, not only are they, but, in some cases, they are already in second and third generations.

Even though each technology by itself seems magical due to the results it generates, there are two aspects that currently elevate them to levels that we can hardly predict.

On the one hand, the ease of accessing them, with services such as clouds that allow us to use them in a matter of minutes;

and, on the other, the synergy derived -fundamentally- from human creativity to solve problems or improve the way in which we approach current ones.

Thus, each technology can be integrated as a building block of a more complex system, with fascinating capabilities that far exceed what each can achieve on its own.

If we analyze the interaction between technology and human beings, we can see that historically we have generated new tools that allow us to replace ourselves in increasingly complex and specialized tasks.

The exploration and generation of new realities is something that has been with us since our beginnings, and this has not changed anything in the digital world.

Every day in the future we will witness how a machine relieves us of a task in which we considered ourselves irreplaceable and this shows us that, even when technology impacts us daily due to its new capabilities and benefits, what should really surprise us is our capacity as human beings. humans to always be one step ahead, creating it.
