The senior officials of the coalition remained silent today (Wednesday) in the face of the state's response to the High Court, according to which the answer to the evacuation of the illegal Bedouin outpost Khan al-Ahmar should be postponed for another four months. This, despite the fact that most of them had previously attacked the previous government of Naftali Bennett and Yair Lapid when it acted Similar, and despite the promises to lead a policy of "full right wing" under which the outpost will be evacuated.

Ministers Itamar Ben Gabir and Bezalel Smotrich are the most conspicuous in their silence. During the previous government, the religious Zionist chairman attacked Bennett and Shaked and called the delay in evacuating the outpost a "failure chasing failure". And he claimed that this was a "renunciation of Israeli sovereignty".

On another occasion he said that "Bibi is weak against Arabs and strong against Jews".

Chairman of Otzma Yehudit Ben Gabir even previously conditioned the evacuation of the outpost on entering the government led by Netanyahu, saying in one of the videos he distributed "There is no Otzma Yehudit, there is no right-wing government."

"Giving up Israeli sovereignty," Smotrich once said.

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, who has pledged since 2018 to evacuate the outpost "very soon," also refrained from commenting on the state's answer to the High Court. Similar to the heads of the current coalition, the heads of the previous coalition Bennett, Shaked, Lieberman and Sa'ar also promised to evacuate the outpost, but at the moment of truth they asked A request for postponement of the eviction, a step that ultimately did not happen.

Only a few members of the Knesset in the current coalition responded to the state's answer given today to the High Court. MK Danny Danon of the Likud said that this is a "dangerous precedent", in his words, and added that it is "providing a leeway for the illegal construction of the Palestinians. We were elected to change the stuttering policy of The previous government and not to continue it. It is still not too late to act and evict Khan Al Ahmar."

MK Limor Son Har-Malech of Otzma Yehudit claimed that "the residents of this outpost who invaded the state's lands should have been evicted several years ago, and not succumb to threats and intimidation from home and abroad."
