Attorney David Hodak, who was included in the original list of witnesses in the Netanyahu trial, said today (Wednesday) at a panel on legal reform, that "if someone forces me to live in a dictatorship and I have no choice - I will not hesitate to use live fire." He said this at the Chamber's winter conference The lawyers in Eilat.

"I don't think the government understands what mud it is getting into," he said at the conference. "People are ready to fight with weapons against this destructive legislative plan.

So everyone is shocked, how do you say such a thing?

So I say: if they drag me there, that's what I'll do.

I will not leave the country, and I will not live in a dictatorship.

They are going after it with all their might - and we will oppose it with all our might.

And whatever happens." He also warned that "there might be a fratricidal war here, unfortunately."

His words created a great stir at the event. While some people in the audience applauded, others argued that a police complaint should be filed against him.
