Cuauhtémoc Cárdenas distances himself from Mexicolectivo after criticism from López Obrador

Cuauhtémoc Cárdenas, one of the most important figures of the left in Mexico, distanced himself from the Mexicolectivo initiative after President Andrés Manuel López Obrador criticized the alleged participation of the politician in this movement.

Hours after the president's statements, Cárdenas—three times presidential candidate—published a letter in which he said that he does not participate nor will he be part of Mexicolectivo.
