In recent weeks, relations between Amsalem and Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu have deteriorated due to the distribution of portfolios and the formation of the government.

MK Dodi Amsalem's crisis:

"If Amsalem doesn't get what he wants, Netanyahu will pay a political price," MK David Bitan said this morning (Wednesday) in an interview with GLAZ.

"If he doesn't finish the matter within a few days, Netanyahu will pay the price. There is a limit to mischief in Amsalem."

As mentioned, in recent weeks the relationship between Amsalem and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has deteriorated against the background of the division of cases and the formation of the government. Although Amsalem came in fourth place in the Likud primaries, Netanyahu did not see fit to give him the positions he was interested in - the position of Speaker of the Knesset or the Ministry of Justice .

Amslam in a message to Netanyahu: "I am not humiliated"

At the beginning of January, Amsalem said that "the one who decided not to give me the position of Speaker of the Knesset is the Prime Minister.

I asked him, explain to me why I can't be in the position?

He told me stories about Ali-Baba, who is afraid that I will settle accounts with the opposition," Amsalam continued to pour out his heart as dozens of Likud activists gathered around him."

As we published in Israel Hayom, one of the proposals that came up around Netanyahu to solve the Amsalem issue is to offer him several positions in the government, among them - a minister in the Ministry of Justice alongside Minister Levin.

However, "Israel Hayom" has learned that Justice Minister Levin is not enthusiastic about the idea of appointing another minister in the Ministry of Justice and thinks that it could create problems.

As part of the proposal to Amsalem, the intention is to appoint him as the minister who links the government to the Knesset and perhaps even as the minister for regional cooperation.

These two positions are now under the Minister of Education Yoav Kish.

Despite Levin's reservations about appointing Amsalem to the Ministry of Justice, he understands the need for the Knesset member from the Likud to join the government and his reservations will not prevent the move if Amsalem agrees to it.
