There was a change in leadership at the Frohsinn Reichenkirchen rifle club at the annual general meeting in Grucking: Franz Karbaumer, who had been the longstanding champion of rifles, no longer stood as a candidate and left the board with due expressions of gratitude.
The previous secretary Manfred Obermaier from Harham was unanimously elected as his successor.
Reichenkirchen – Returning officer and deputy mayor Hans Rasthofer did not find it difficult to fill all posts with small changes.
He thanked everyone who took on and had taken on responsibility in the club.
The club, with around 175 members, is looking forward to a positive future with a younger board and solid financial situation and is happy when new young people from the age of twelve are interested in shooting sports.
Qualified youth leaders are available every Friday from 6 p.m. at the electronic shooting range in Grucking.
Prior knowledge is not required.
There are numerous club activities for all age groups, from shooting evenings to children's and youth carnivals to excursions for young and old.
Long-standing and deserving members were honored at the meeting.
Both the previous rifle champion Karbaumer and his successor Obermaier congratulated the honorees with a certificate.
The Frohsinn-Schützen were founded in 1930. They currently have four district teams – three air rifle adults and one air rifle youth.
