Incoming Minister of Education Kish: "The Ministry of Education is changing direction" (Photo: Knesset Channel)
The office of the Minister of Education Yoav Kish sent a letter last night (Tuesday) to the district administrators in the office in which it was clarified that for any visit or intention of a politician to visit an educational institution, the administrators of the institutions must inform the minister's office.
According to the letter, a political figure from the entire political spectrum is prohibited from visiting a school - without receiving permission from the minister's office.
"I would like to make it clear that in every appeal to you or to your subordinates, by a political party from the Knesset or the government, from all ends of the political spectrum, the minister's office must be informed," the clarification reads.
"There is no permission for any party to enter the premises of the educational institutions directly or indirectly - without the approval of the bureau," it was made clear to the district administrators.
"Inform with every contact of a political entity".

MK Moshe Kinley Mish Atid attacked Kish after the publication of the clarification. Yoav, what are you afraid of?" he wrote in a tweet on Twitter.
"Every week I come to the field, visit schools, talk with the educational staff and hear the students. This is how I handled missing placements and extra hours with the local authority. Instead of preventing me and others from hearing the students, you are welcome to join me on the next visits," he added.
