The convenience store involved in the incident seen at the scene is not large in size, and the shelves in the store are filled with potato chips, candies and drinks.

According to nearby tenants, the convenience store involved has been in operation for about half a year. It usually opens at 11:00 am and closes at 4:00 pm. Sometimes it doesn’t even open. A man usually looks after the store. The rent is estimated to be about 10,000 yuan.

Inspector Chu Shaolin of the Police Narcotics Investigation Division explained the case and believed that the male shopkeeper was recruited by a drug cartel a month ago and proposed to use the warehouse of the convenience store to store 100 kilograms of suspected methamphetamine.

The drug trafficking group used tea and tin foil as a cover, and put the 100 kilograms of suspected methamphetamine in 5 plastic boxes, mixed among the goods in the warehouse.

The batch of drugs is estimated to be supplied to the local market and has been stored for about a month.

It is understood that the person in charge of the arrested man has a gangster background.
