American children's basketball is experiencing a real scandal.

A 22-year-old coach pretended to be a student almost a decade younger to participate in a match with 13-year-old girls.

The unforgivable sports cheating went viral and featured Churchland High assistant Arlisha Boykins, who played a game on Jan. 21

pretending to be an elementary school student.

She enrolled in the sports form under a false name, taking the place of another athlete who was traveling.

The move was made without the consent of other players and neither of the absent girl.

Arlisha Boykins pretended to be a student.

“Coaches are always lecturing kids about integrity and that kind of thing, so I was surprised,” said the father of the student Boykins impersonated.

“I just need an apology,

you know, because I haven't received one from the program supervisor yet,” he added.

According to her father, the girl will no longer be a student at Churchland High, Virginia.

In the video, Boykins is seen sporting a black number 1 jersey that belonged to the player who was out of town at the time of the match.

Boykins made a simple layup, shot block and hit a pair of free throws.

He even

made a celebratory hand gesture after laying up against opponents who were more than 10 years younger.

Arlisha Boykins, the trainer who pretended to be a 13-year-old girl.

This usurpation of the name and persona without the consent of the young woman and her family, who were out of town at the time,

got both Arlisha Boykins and the team's head coach fired.

In turn, it was also revealed that the Churchland team

withdrew completely from the competition after the scandal they staged.

“Churchland administration held a parent-player meeting with the junior and varsity teams.

In the meeting, the players of both teams expressed that they did not want to continue this season.

The remaining opponents and officials of the teams have been notified”, was the determination that was made through an official statement.

Despite his incidence in the game, the result was just two points difference in favor of his team

(they won 47-45).

However, after confirming his scandalous participation, finally the victory is now listed as a loss by abandonment.
