The Ashkelon Magistrate's Court today (Wednesday) extended by six days the detention of the nanny suspected of abusing toddlers at a daycare center in the city of Sderot.
The suspect is a resident of the city of Sderot in her 50s.
She is being investigated on suspicion of abuse, assault and causing injury to a helpless person.
As part of the investigation, police officers examined the security cameras and watched many hours of recording, from which the suspicion was strengthened that the suspected nanny resorted to violence and abused some of the toddlers.
