The winter weather will continue today (Wednesday), but will weaken starting in the evening - according to Meteo-Tech's weather forecast.
In the north of the country and along the coastal plain, rain will continue to fall for periods accompanied by single thunderstorms.
In the morning there is a fear of flooding on the coastal plain.
It is expected to snow in Hermon during the day.
Also, strong winds will blow and local sandstorms will occur in the south of the country.
From noon the rain will spread to the center of the Negev and there is a fear of floods in the streams of the Judean desert and the south.
From the evening hours the rains and winds will weaken and at night it will be partly cloudy to cloudy and local rain is expected.
The meteorological service warned of high seas for ships in the Mediterranean, flooding, reduced visibility, thunderstorms, mountain fog, strong winds and flash floods.
Tomorrow will be partly cloudy to cloudy.
Drizzle to light localized rain is possible, mainly in the north and center of the country.
On Friday and Saturday it will still be colder than usual and the temperatures will not change significantly, at the same time local rain is expected in the north of the country and in the center, along with snow that is expected to fall in Hermon.
