Sandro Rosell
, former president of Barcelona,
gave a crude account of his experience in prison
, where he spent 645 days in pretrial detention for a crime of which he was later acquitted.
Rosell gave an interview with Risto Mejide, for Viajando con Chester, and revealed difficult moments when he was deprived of his freedom.
"They threatened me a couple of times, but my colleagues immediately came to my defense,"
he said.

In tune, he added:
"They were going to give me hosts. One for being president of Barça and another for being Catalan. It happened to me once in Madrid and another in Barcelona
, but both protected me without my asking for it."
And he recounted what the conflicts were like:
"One told me that I would pay him everything he asked for until he wanted or I would burst, but my colleagues came out and stopped him.

In almost two years, Sandro confessed that he had witnessed several fights:

Why did they arrest Rosell?
In May 2017, Rosell was arrested and spent 21 months in pretrial detention.
What were they accusing him of?
Billing through a ghost company that broadcast the Brazilian team match.
The accusation said that the former president of Barcelona never declared that income and asked for six years in prison for the businessman.
However, the National Court ended up acquitting him.
