Will Smith, after the slap at the Oscars, returns to theaters with the fourth Bad Boys

will return to the big screen thanks to the fourth installment of

, which will be his first big project after the controversial slap he gave to comedian Chris Rock during the Oscars ceremony last year.

"I have an announcement... They better stop scrolling. Seriously," he revealed in a video posted on his Instagram account.

In that announcement about the fourth part of this action comedy, his co-star, Martin Lawrence, also appears, who in the images receives the Oscar-winning actor at his house while saying: "About time, right?" .

The new film is in the early stages of pre-production at the Sony Pictures studio and now the directors of the third film -Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah- will work together again, according to the specialized media

More details about the plot of the fourth part of this saga are still unknown, but what is known is that Smith and Lawrence will once again play detectives Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett, respectively, in their new adventures in Miami.
