The two ragdoll cats Merlin and Ivy could hardly be more different.

Their contrasting facial expressions wow the TikTok community.

Ragdoll cats are known to be docile, calm, affectionate and friendly.

The cat breed was first bred by Californian Ann Baker in the 1960s.

They captivate with medium long fur and blue eyes.

However, their colors and coat patterns can vary greatly.

And as Merlin and Ivy show, that can also happen with their facial expressions.

titled "I have a feeling they could be Disney characters."

The clip gets more than 18 million clicks and four million likes.

For the community, Ivy is the angel and Merlin is the devil.

But why only becomes clear on closer inspection.

Cat Venus's face looks like it's divided in two.

First of all, the clip shows the cats from afar, lying together on a carpet.

Then the scene changes and Merlin looks very close into the camera.

With an evil look and the chin down, only the horns on his head are missing - just like a plush little devil.

Tomcat Ashfur also enchants with a beautiful face.

Two cats so different: evil eye versus dreamy googly eyes

Then Ivy shows up - the complete opposite of Merlin.

Delicate, huge wide eyes look dreamily into the camera.

Dearest - like an angel.

Or maybe like a Disney princess?

Then the images change faster.

Evil look from Merlin, then again a lovely picture from Ivy.

In between, an almost menacing photo of Merlin sitting on a windowsill in the twilight.

In the next picture he wears a devil costume to match.

Ivy, on the other hand, is disguised as a bumblebee.

A cat who doesn't feel like partying can also become a TikTok star.
