Audition fire:
Simon Cowell's head caught fire during an audition for the British version of the hit reality show "Got Talent".
According to a report in the British "Mirror", viewers who were present at the filming of the program said that during an audition of a magician who wore a mask, he brought the TV personality on stage and covered his head.
So, they said, the magician poured flammable liquid over Cowell's headdress and locked it in a box, so the audience could only see the host's head.

From here it seems that the magic took an unexpected turn, as the masked magician dropped a lit match into the box, setting the 63-year-old judge's head on fire.
According to the report, many of the viewers in the audience in the studio started screaming in panic, as did the other members of the judging panel, who even got up from their seats.
"Everyone was completely shocked," said one of those present at the scene, who added that "the flames were extinguished and Simon was taken out of the box when he looked like this. The other judges breathed a sigh of relief when he returned to sit at the table with them."

The same person also said that Cowell said after the audition that he felt liquid being poured on him, but he had no idea that it was flammable liquid.
Cowell's stunned fellow panelists were left stunned after the shoot, with judge-singer Alicia Dixon heard telling him: "Simon, he set your head on fire. It was very scary. You're a very brave person for agreeing to do that, it made me realize how much you care to us from you. I was already preparing to go up there and save you."
The fate of the masked magician is unknown, and no information has been published regarding his future in the program.
The British "Got Talent" will return to the screen this spring.
