Netanyahu's visit to France:
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was received today (Thursday) by French President Macron at the Elysee Palace in Paris.
The two meet at this time and discuss the international effort to stop the Iranian nuclear program and ways to expand the Abraham Accords.
The one who was absent from the welcome ceremony at the airport was Israel's outgoing ambassador to France, Yael German, who will serve until the middle of the month.
Instead of German, who resigned due to her opposition to the new government, the embassy was represented by the administrative officer.
Before taking off, Netanyahu said: "I am going to a meeting with French President Macron. The main topic of our conversation is of course Iran and the joint efforts to fight its aggression and its pursuit of nuclear weapons. I will meet with representatives of the Jewish community and the business community in France who are interested in investing in Israel."
Regarding the agreements, Avraham said: "At the same time, we continue to expand the circle of peace. Today was another historic day: together with the president of Chad, we opened the Chadian embassy in Israel. We will continue to expand and deepen the circle of peace with other countries near and far."
