This is information that does not explain everything but partly sheds light on the drama that took place on the night of January 24 to 25 near Nantes.
That evening, two 21-year-old young men from Morbihan lost their lives in a road trip in the town of Saint-Herblain (Loire-Atlantique).
An accident that occurred on a winding road as part of a chase with the police after a refusal to comply.

To see more clearly on the circumstances of the tragedy, autopsies were performed.
In addition,
"complete toxicological analyses"
were carried out.
A first part of the results has just fallen.
"With regard to the driver, a blood alcohol level of 1.51 g / liter of blood was highlighted

He had a blood level of 1.52 g/litre.
So many elements which do not constitute proof but allow us to establish hypotheses on the behavior of the driver of the vehicle and his refusal to stop despite the orders of the police.
Average speed of 100 km/h
The resulting chase had taken place at high speed.
Ten kilometers had been covered in the space of six minutes.
“There was a very big acceleration with speeds above 140 km / h”
, had traced the prosecutor the day after the events.
The offending vehicle, spotted in the Dervallières district, had notably crossed the town center of Sautron

He ended up taking rue de la Syonnière in Saint-Herblain, a winding, wooded little road.
It was on this that the two young men lost their lives after hitting a tree at the exit of a bend.

Consequence: the police officers, who claim to have lost vision of the vehicle which preceded them in the bends, would therefore not have attended the fatal road exit.
In this case, the General Inspectorate of the National Police (IGPN) had not been seized.
