The police tracked down and found the vehicle involved in the case in a parking lot in Tsing Yi about 6 hours after the incident, and then arrested the 63-year-old driver involved in the case in Chai Wan District.


According to the police, at about 6:36 p.m. yesterday (1st), a male driver surnamed Xu (63 years old) was driving a snail car westbound along Chung Mei Road. Eighty old man.

After the accident, the snail truck left the scene. The old man suffered multiple injuries and was sent to Yan Chai Hospital in a coma. He was certified dead at 7:08 p.m.

The police immediately launched a search, and finally found the snail truck involved in a parking lot in Tsing Yi District, and arrested him at the driver's residence in Chai Wan District at midnight today (2nd).

He was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, neglecting to leave after a traffic accident, and failing to report a traffic accident. He is currently being detained for investigation.
