Ahead of the presentation of the investigation into the violent incident between soldiers in the Yehuda and Golani brigades, Golani denies that they behaved improperly. According to them, the incident exploded when an officer spoke "not nicely" to their police officer, after ordering him to wait before entering the base. "It's easiest for us to spread stories, we did what we were told to do"

Soldiers in Company C who serve in Hebron, in the area of the Yehuda Brigade, say that they were interrogated following the violent incident between soldiers at the Hebron outpost by the commander of the 51st Battalion, Lt. Col. Meir Ohion, and the commander of the Golani Brigade, Col. Yair Plai.

One of the fighters said: "Major General Golani believes us, for us that's enough." According to him, "We are also waiting for the end of the investigation, and once it comes out they will understand our side as well."

The soldiers in the S.G. behaved as expected of them: they checked and asked, and those who spoke unkindly to them were the officers."

Another soldier in the brigade told about the incident from his point of view. According to him, the brigade liaison officer initially arrived alone at the S.G. and asked to enter, but the soldier at the entrance stopped him and told him that without permission from the commanders he cannot enter, and that he is not aware of any permission to let him in. The soldier also said that the officer began to speak badly to that soldier in the S.G. at the point when the latter called his commander. "The soldier did not know him at all," he claimed.

"Then another vehicle from the brigade arrived and asked to enter and was told to wait," he continued.

"In the third vehicle that arrived was Commandant Yehuda, and then the speech and behavior started to be unpleasant.

In the investigation we said what he did to the fighters at the entrance.

It's not his honor.

Especially since the soldiers in SHG did exactly what they were told.

The instruction was clear and a fighter should do what he is told.

That's what we did."

Another fighter said that the riot started when the officer was rude to their RSP.

"We are not talking about a young RSP, this is a veteran RSP who has served for four years. Everyone in the company respects him and those who understand respect for a veteran RSP know that there is no way that anyone will stand and watch from the sidelines.

We protected him," he claimed. "I can only say that the RSP spoke very nicely. Politely. He explained to everyone who wanted to enter to wait until he checked with the commanders what the instructions were. And someone didn't want to wait and spoke badly. And everyone already understands the rest."

According to the fighters, until the investigation they estimated that no one believed their version.

"It's easiest for us to stick stories, because we are Golani. Wait for the end of the investigation. I think the commanders already understand what really happened and who behaved in a way that did not respect their ranks. You see what we are doing here. Protecting the people of Israel. In this cold."

Already at this stage there is criticism in the Yosh division of the company's conduct since they were obligated to allow the commandant, as a senior officer in the sector, to enter the outpost without any delays, and this, according to them, is what created anger and raised the tension between the parties.

In the meantime, IDF officials estimate that in the next few days, the commander of the Central Command, Major General Yehuda Fox, and the commander of the Northern Command, Major General Uri Gordin, will decide the battle between the Golani Brigade and the Yehuda Brigade. against those involved.

The IDF spokesman stated that "the incident is being investigated by the relevant commanders, in a thorough, thorough manner and in the manner used in every investigation in the IDF. The IDF takes seriously any manifestation of violence and treats it accordingly."

The RSP stopped the brigadier general, and the mess began

The affair began on Sunday, when the liaison officer of the Yehuda Brigade called the 51st SMG "Golanchik Ers" in front of everyone. Following this, the SMG instructed not to bring the liaison officer into the outpost.

He threatened that those who do so will be punished for staying at the outpost on Shabbat.

After that, the deputy commander of the Yehuda Brigade and the liaison officer arrived at the outpost, where a soldier standing at the entrance prevented them from passing through the police station, an act that was even recorded on video. At this point, the commander called the SMG and asked him to allow his entry. The SMG only approved his entry of the commandant, and ordered to leave the liaison officer outside.

The commander did not give up, and confronted a fighter who was there. The fighter informed the commander about the confrontation.

Several officers arrived at the scene, including a company commander and his deputy.

After that the commander also arrived, and brought the commander and the liaison officer into the post.

But the spirits did not calm down at this point.

The company commander who was there recognized the commander, and tried to prevent his entry as well.

According to the claims, the soldiers who accompanied the commander behaved violently. The soldiers of the company who noticed the commotion attacked the commander with kicks and punches.

At this point, the commandant and the liaison officer fled the scene.
