Hungarian Viktor Orban does not want to let go of Moscow

Borys Filatov, the mayor of Dnipro, got angry on his Telegram channel after Viktor Orban compared Ukraine to a no-man's land like Afghanistan, during a closed-door meeting with journalists.

"Get out of the skirts of the EU and NATO and we will sweep you away in three days,"

Filatov was still carried away, while the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned the Hungarian ambassador to Kiev.

A year after the February 24 invasion, Viktor Orban continues to stand apart in Europe.

He is convinced that Ukraine cannot resist Russia in the long term and regain its territories.

He deplores the fact that the West has allowed itself to be dragged into the war

"up to its neck"

and that it can no longer be ruled out that NATO will cross the Rubicon by sending troops to counter future Russian offensives.
