Jessica Simpson: Nothing and no one will steal my joy 1:16

Let the guessing games begin.
Jessica Simpson released an original short story on Amazon titled "Movie Star: They Always Say They're Single."
The project describes an encounter Simpson says she had with an unidentified actor who "grew up thinking he was so attractive."
It all started, she reveals, when she had five days left to get back together with singer Nick Lachey, whom she eventually married.
According to her account, it was early September 2001 and Simpson "had spent that summer separated from my first real boyfriend, Nick, and I still didn't know how to be single."
She was at a 2001 MTV VMAs after party when the actor, whom she refers to as a Movie Star, met her and "looked" her up and down, "like he was undressing me with his eyes..."
The then-21-year-old singer said she got his phone number, never called him, met up with him later and talked about possibly doing a music video together, which never happened, and the two lost contact once they she and Lachey got back together and married.

Simpson and Lachey divorced in 2006 and a producer later told her, "I've got someone who's been after you forever, and you don't even know it," connecting her to the movie star.
Simpson writes that they met at the Beverly Hills Hotel while he was preparing for an awards show and it was there that they shared their first kiss.
“He texted me during the awards show,” he writes.
"The event was so big that it made me feel special that all the beautiful women in Hollywood were there and he wanted me."
But, the plot twist.
"Actually, there was another beautiful woman in his life: his girlfriend," she said.
“Shortly after, I saw a picture of Movie Star on a red carpet with her,” Simpson revealed.
"Never in a million years was she going to be the other woman."
After insisting that he and his girlfriend had broken up and were only being photographed together to prevent news of the split from getting out, the anonymous actor continued to pursue her.

She describes that he even invited her to travel to see him while filming, but they had to take separate cars to the hotel where they had rooms on different floors and they advised her to use the fire escape to get to her room.
Simpson said he finally realized the star was trying to "hide me from his girl."
According to her, they didn't have sex and she ended things on her terms, but she got something to remember him by.
“I needed a trophy for this achievement so I took the pillowcase I was sleeping on,” she wrote.
"I didn't care if it was weird or if I had to pay for it...and I'd send her message: this was fun, but now I have a memory of you."
