Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov confirmed that Western countries, led by the United States, are seeking to escalate the conflict in Ukraine, and this has become evident, especially through the continued pumping of weapons to the Kyiv regime.

And the Russian Foreign Minister stressed that the more the West provides Kyiv with long-range weapons, the greater the need to remove it and the Ukrainian forces to a safe distance from Russian territory.
Lavrov added, “The West is trying to defeat Russia and make it unable to regain its strength for decades, and this was explicitly announced by the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, when she considered that the outcome of the war should be Russia’s defeat and prevent it from restoring its economy for many decades,” wondering, Is it not These statements are the height of racism and Nazism.
He stressed that the allegations that Russia refuses to negotiate on Ukraine are false and untrue, pointing out that Russian diplomacy is actively working to enhance its communication and clarify the truth on the international arena.
Lavrov continued, "There was a possibility to resolve the crisis politically, but no one in the West wants the Kyiv regime to start negotiations, and we are fully aware that Vladimir Zelensky is not an independent figure, but rather he is being pressured, and it is a reflection of the interests of the West."
