A viral challenge that circulates on social networks such as TikTok has alerted the health authorities and citizen security in several states of Mexico in recent weeks.
The challenge for users, mainly children and adolescents, is taking controlled medications that cause drowsiness and trying to stay awake.
The TikTok office in Latin America told CNN that it will remove all content that poses dangerous challenges to its users, in addition to deleting user accounts under 13 years of age, which is the minimum age established to use that digital platform.
