” on TMC last night, Éric Ciotti expressed his desire to run for mayor of the city of the Alpes-Maritimes.
“
I am preparing for
it,” said the president of the Les Républicains party.
“I have been a deputy for 15
years, I was born there and I want Nice to find a new destiny
,” said Eric Ciotti, deploring the “
financial difficulties
” weighing on the city.
"Nice is now more indebted than Paris
", he regretted, denouncing a "
bling-bling policy
".
“
There is a megalomaniac drift, a lot of spending
”, he slammed, while evoking the “
suffering
” of the inhabitants of certain neighborhoods where “
violence is gaining ground
”.
The elected representative of the Alpes-Maritimes also denounced the demolition of the National Theater of Nice programmed by Christian Estrosi, ex-LR.
"It's a serious subject that worries the people of
Nice
," warned Éric Ciotti.
The new boss of the Republicans, during his greeting speech to the people of Nice a month ago, already claimed to want to embody "
hope
".
“This city, I want to give it everything, equal to what it has given me.
The moment of truth has always resounded in the voting booth.
This confidence, it obliges me, I have duties with regard to this city faced with a worrying destiny.
