The audience of the Cinema House attended this evening the black comedy and crime movie (Three Paintings Outside Ebbing, Missouri) written, directed and produced by the Englishman Martin McDonagh, and it is the second time that a movie of his within this project has been shown.

The film won two Oscars, Best Lead Actress for Frances McDormand, Best Supporting Actor for Sam Rockwell, and the People's Choice Award at the 2017 Toronto International Film Festival. It co-starred Woody Harrelson, John Hawkes, and Peter Dinklage.

The film, based on a real incident in America, tells the story of a divorced mother who is grieved by the death of her teenage daughter about seven months ago. She is dissatisfied with the police’s failure to detect the perpetrator, which prompts her to rent three paintings next to her house, which can be read sequentially through three phrases that raise questions about the crime and accusations of negligence and incompetence. responsibility by the town authorities.
