Yuri Volaklov was murdered about two months ago at the crossing in Holon due to a dispute on the road.

After the incident, the family decided to start a crowdfunding campaign to help the family.

The donations reached about NIS 915,000, but yesterday (Wednesday) Guy Peleg announced in the main edition of News 12 that the family's lawyer, Eyal Basraglik, is charging her a fee of NIS 600,000, about two-thirds of the donations.

Volkov went out last November in the evening with his wife Lena to see an apartment in Holon.

When they finished and headed back to their home in Bat Yam, he began to prepare himself for another shift in the emergency room of the Ichilov Hospital, where he worked as a medical aid for 20 years.

Strenuous, sacred work, designed to provide the necessary shell to sustain life.

He did not make it to this shift.

His life ended in seconds from the stabbing of a motorcyclist.

The chain of events was short, and was described by the family friend who was interviewed by the media as follows: the two were waiting at a crosswalk when the motorcyclist ran a red light and was close to hitting them.

Lena took out her phone and took a picture of him.

The rider realized that he had been caught, stopped next to her and demanded that she "bring what you took".

He didn't let go as she kept walking.

"Keep driving, everything is fine," he told him.

The rider did not hesitate, pulled out a knife and stabbed him once in the chest.

Yuri still had time to walk to the sidewalk.

So he clutched his heart, whispered to his wife "I don't feel well" - and collapsed.

Lena, also an auxiliary worker in Ichilov, realized the seriousness of the situation and called for medical assistance, who evacuated him while doing resuscitation.

In the operating room at Wolfson Hospital, the team had to determine his death, at the age of 52.
